About Chambers Bay Golf Course

Chambers Bay Golf Course, located in University Place, Washington, is not only a multi-award-winning golf course that was chosen to host the 2015 U.S. Open — it's also a premier wedding venue in the Puget Sound (Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia) region. Situated high on a bluff looking west toward the Puget Sound, the clubhouse and wedding pavilion enjoy magnificent water views, with the craggy Olympic Mountains beyond. It's the best location for sunset viewing anywhere in the Tacoma area. Down the hill, in and around the Central Meadow, is a unique collection of natural and man-made features that are like candy to wedding photographers. A curving pedestrian bridge spans busy railroad tracks to provide access to a rocky, driftwood-littered beach. Huge, weathered concrete structures left over from the site's former gravel mining operations serve as giant props and backdrops. Tall grasses abound everywhere. A patio situated between the clubhouse and wedding pavilion is the typical site for dry-weather wedding ceremonies, with the venue's panoramic views providing a breathtaking backdrop. Receptions and rainy-day ceremonies are held in the adjacent pavilion, a large tent-like structure made plush with draped fabrics and chandeliers. Getting-ready spaces and restrooms are available in the clubhouse next door. Please contact Chambers Bay Golf Course for more information.

About Wallflower Photography

Wallflower Photography, located in Tacoma, Washington, about 30 miles south of Seattle, is one of Washington State's top wedding photography studios. Owned and operated by two award-winning wedding photographers, Laura and Scott Schoeggl, Wallflower Photography provides premium wedding photography services unmatched by all but the very best wedding photographers. They attribute their success to their expertise and commitment to quality in all three major facets of modern wedding photography: behind the camera, behind the computer, and in their wedding album and wall art design and materials. While photographing, Laura and Scott fade into the background, just like you would expect of a “wallflower.” From their two separate perspectives, they'll expertly cover your planned events — and catch fleeting moments and expressions that happen suddenly and then are gone. They'll create striking and romantic images of the bride and groom in a fun, efficient portrait session. And while you're honeymooning, they'll invest dozens of hours in their computer lab, enhancing your photos so that they become not just cool images, but works of art. Then they'll craft a beautifully designed custom album that will become a new family heirloom you'll treasure for years to come. Please contact Wallflower Photography for more information.
